    School Performance

At North Cadbury Church of England Primary School, we are proud of the excellent outcomes achieved by our pupils. Our results reflect the dedication of our children, staff and families, together with our commitment to delivering a rich, engaging curriculum and high-quality teaching. As a small school, we recognise that individual cohorts can significantly influence percentage outcomes. We therefore consider attainment alongside pupils' progress, personal development, wellbeing, character and readiness for the next stage of education to ensure every child has the opportunity to flourish.

Please note, the first percentage in each box denotes the children reaching age-related expectation (ARE). The second percentage displays the number of children reaching Greater Depth (GD) the highest potential grade.

    Key Stage 2 SATs Assessments

At the end of Year 6, pupils complete the national Key Stage 2 (KS2) assessments, commonly known as SATs. These assessments measure attainment in Reading, Mathematics, and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling (GPS). Results are reported as scaled scores, where a score of 100 represents the expected standard for a pupil of that age. Scores above 100 indicate attainment above the expected standard. Alongside test outcomes, teachers assess pupils' writing against national teacher assessment frameworks and report whether pupils are working towards, at, or at greater depth within the expected standard. Schools publish cohort-level outcomes while individual pupil results are shared confidentially with parents and carers.
